Everything you need to know about SDK 3.5.0

SDK 3.5.0 marks a major milestone for the Structure SDK - we’ve added a huge number of features and bug fixes that we know have been requested for a long time. There’s so much here that we wanted to share it with the world! If you are looking for the full picture, you’ll want to check the notes. Here are the highlights:

  • New Workflow - Mesh Extraction - Have you ever wondered whether meshes created by your app are being thrown away, but still making it to your billing statement? Do you worry that you’d be charged for trial or practice meshes? Well, then you’ll love Mesh Extraction - our new mesh workflow will allow customers to take as many scans as they need, but only scans that are saved - either to the hard drive or by being sent to you - will be counted toward your total scans. And the best part - it's easy to implement and works with the code you’ve already written.

  • New Features - Foot Measurement Suite - We’ve added a new toolset for measuring feet. Now, you can discern landmarks like metatarsals and heel points, take down measurements like length and metatarsal girth, even measure loaded and unloaded arches with the navicular drop tools!  All measurements are processed right on the local device - no cloud calls required - and all work with the normal scanning workflow you already have. This will be a ‘must have’ feature for clinics and will really shine in demonstrations.

  • License calls are now 30 days - While not an SDK change, we’ve updated our backend so that license calls are now 30 days. This means that once your apps pick up the new 30 day tokens, they'll be able to go 30 days offline. The change happens automatically - no coding on your part required!

  • Stability - With improvements to post processing, depth refinement, and the Hybrid preset, we’re confident that this is our most stable SDK yet.

All you need to do to take advantage of this SDK is to download it from our new development portal!

Finally, we’ll be hosting a webinar on August 27, 2025, to discuss using the new features, Mesh Extraction and More. If you’re interested in attending - Just click here
